POST: SENIOR STATE ACCOUNTANT (ONE YEAR CONTRACT)

REF: SAO/CAO/04/01

CENTRE: CENTRAL ADMIN OFFICE

SALARY: R 227 802 per annum (Level 8) +37% in lieu of service benefits

REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate recognized three-year finance-related tertiary qualification or equivalent. 3-5 years’ experience in financial management with preference given to individuals with strong public financial background. 3-5 years experience of supervisory position. Knowledge of Public Service Regulations and PFMA. Ability to work under pressure and display Leadership skills. Knowledge of Human Resource and Finance (budget/ expenditure).Extensive experience in Procurement (receipt, storage, issue, monitor inventories etc).Knowledge of BAS. Advanced computer literacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A valid driver’s licence .Knowledge of Persal system will be an added advantage DUTIES: Responsible for compilation of campus budget. Weekly analysis of expenditure reports for misallocations. Responsible for the effective control and supervision of the Institution’s finance and Supply Chain Management / administration. Compile commitment & payments. Manage and control budget expenditure. Supervise and develop subordinates. Provide technical advice and guidance on various administrative issues. Promote good labour relations. Manage BAS/PERSAL. Compile orders & submit to pre-audit for approval.To summarise progressive expenditure & commitment reports on a monthly basis.

POST: ACCOUNTING CLERK X3 (ONE YEAR CONTRACT)

REF.: ACC/CO/04/02

SALARY: R 123 738 per annum (Level 5) +37% in lieu of service benefits

CENTRE: LILITHA CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent, with 0-3 years experience in the relevant field, Knowledge of PFMA act, Treasury Regulation, and other government prescripts, Computer literacy, Advanced MS Excel, Understanding of Persal ,BAS and Pastel systems will be an added advantage. DUTIES: Maintain the asset register for Central Office Trading Account. Ensure all assets bought entered in prescribed register. Create accounts for new students. Check accounts against deposit slips to correct deposit allocation. Process journals & issue statements to students .Compile payroll & distribute pay slip. Verify Employees. Responsible for payroll returns and due dates to Head Office. Process capturing of all salary related functions using persal system. Compile orders and submit for processing of commitments, make follow-up on orders and payments of suppliers, Request BAS reports and monitor expenditure, Tag assets and perform verification of Assets, Compile inventory report, Capture payment of trading account and update expenditure on collection of files, Assist in compilation of annual financial statement submissions

POST: HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT CLERK X1 (ONE YEAR CONTRACT)

SALARY: R 123 738 per annum (Level 5) +37% in lieu of service benefits

CENTRE: LILITHA CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

REQUIREMENTS: A National Diploma in HRM or Management of Training. One-two year’s relevant experience in the training and development field. Clear understanding of Performance Management System, sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures in the Public sector. Good communication skills, be able to do without direct supervision, effective decision making and problem solving skills and willingness to travel extensively. Driver’s license will be an added advantage. DUTIES: Ensure compliance with the provision of the Skills Development framework within the allocated workplace. Develop Skills Development guidelines for the College. Conduct Skills Audit / Needs Analysis in the Campuses and Satellites. Co-ordinate and Manage implementation of Training and Leadership Programmes. Evaluate training impact for all training Conducted. Facilitate PMDS implementation for the College staff
