The inaugural Eastern Cape Music Awards (ECMAS) took place over the weekend with Eastern Cape’s biggest names scooping awards against the developing local artists. The event was held at a Methodist Church Multipurpose Centre in Wilsonia. The awards lined up a list of performers including Zahara, Berita, Bethusile Mcinga, Dumi Mkokstad, Mavie M, Nathi, Vusi Nova, Ifani, Mobi Dixon and Kholeka.
