The purpose of these opportunities is to participate in a one year CHIETA funded contract to gain valuable working experience in the above-mentioned fields of study.
The Electrical Engineering graduate would be involved in the following areas:
- Energy Management (Power monitoring, Alalysis, Continuous improvement
- Premature failure analysis on all electrical applications
- Fault finding and repairs to AC/DC machines
- EX protection analysis and legal compliance
- Management of all maintenance systems
- Fire protection and detection systems
- Refrigeration and heat pump technology
- Air management control systems
- Telemecanique
- PLC programming and fault finding
- Electrical legal compliance administration
The Mechanical Engineering graduate would be involved in the following areas:
- Electro Pneumatics and hydraulics fault finding.
- Project Management and procurement.
- Energy Management and continues improvement.
- Asset registers and capitalizations
- Fire prevention and detection.
- Management of all preventive maintenance systems.
- Legal compliance inspections and tests.
- Basic Designs using Auto CAD & Inventor
- Administration and legal compliance
- Pressure vessels and air supply management.
Requirements
- 3 years Mechanical engineering Diploma
- 3 years Electrical engineering Diploma
