What got you into events and why?

The social scene in the Eastern Cape was a redundant one consisting of a monopoly of event organisers who dictated what the social scene was and it led to the scene being tedious and boring. So I saw a gap in the market to start throwing concept parties across the province for trendy, students, mature adults and general music enthusiasts.

What groundbreaking things you have achieved so far in terms of business and growth?

Getting a chance to work for a huge company like Ogilvy – I learnt a lot about advertising, marketing and liberating of a brand which is essential when you looking to stay ahead of competitors.

What are the challenges that you are faced with as a young entrepreneur trying to enter the business world? (How do you plan to overcome them?)

The biggest challenge facing young entrepreneurs today is creating a culture that attracts and retains the talent needed to become a great company. It is something simple, but often overlooked because of the tasks and priorities of launching a new business. I feel like sticking to the basics that got me so far is the best way to overcome these challenges.

In twelve months I’d like to have an even better understanding of the industry and chance to growing the brands I’m involved in with the help of big corporate.

My strong work ethic and emphasis on quality.

What is your ultimate dream that you would like to achieve in life?

Driven, Creative, Leader

What is the main thing that you like to see in the Eastern Cape?

I’d like to see more creative agencies in the Eastern Cape. How is an agency based in the north of Johannesburg (Sandton) supposed to communicate a product to rural Eastern Cape?

How can people connect with you?
